Verifies  /  AI test swarm

TestHive

TestHive is a digital testing workforce that works alongside every Softek test engineer, so coverage scales with the program instead of with headcount.

Verification arrives after the build is frozen. By then a requirements defect costs more to fix than it did to write, and the traceability matrix is a spreadsheet somebody reconciles by hand the week before the gate.

The constraint is never the tester. It is how much one tester can cover before the release date.

What TestHive is

TestHive is Softek's AI test swarm, built on Axiom. Five specialized agents operate as the digital workforce inside a hybrid team: senior test engineers plus the swarm. The engineers set the strategy, review the output and remain the authority of record. The swarm does the volume.

  1. Discovery

    Scout

Maps the application, its surfaces and its requirements

  2. Generation

    Builder

Writes the browser, API and performance suites

  3. Governance

    Guard

Holds coverage, standards and traceability discipline

  4. Maintenance

    Fixer

    Self-healing locators, proposed for approval

  5. Reporting

    Insight

Results and coverage in a form a COR can read

The loop closes. Fixer's repairs feed back into the suite Builder generated, so coverage survives the next release instead of decaying with it.

The engineer sits outside the loop. Every repair and result is proposed, never applied silently. The human tester remains the authority of record.

What it covers

Functional and API

  • Browser automation in Playwright, Selenium and Cypress across Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari and mobile
  • API tests generated from OpenAPI and Swagger definitions
  • Live-query requirements traceability, which reduces traceability drift between the matrix and the suite

Performance, security and access

  • Performance scaffolding in JMeter, LoadRunner or k6
  • DAST patterns for security testing
  • Section 508 and WCAG 2.0 AA, including JAWS and NVDA workflows

Stacks supported

  • Common federal technology stacks: Java, .NET, JavaScript, Python, React, Angular, Power Platform and REST or SOAP services

Integrations

  • HP ALM and Jira
  • GitHub, GitLab and Bitbucket
  • Jenkins and Azure DevOps
  • ServiceNow, CMDBs, CI/CD and observability platforms

FSA ISIR proof of concept

Built in two business days from Federal Student Aid's published artifacts alone, using Playwright, axe and k6. No access to FSA systems, no client data.

883
Executable conformance rules derived from a 958-field record layout
890
Traceable test cases
222,500
Assertions across 250 published test ISIRs, executed in 1.54 seconds
0
Field-level errors, confirmed against the customer's own validator

12,811 preliminary exceptions were resolved to 3 engineering-review items through three rule-alignment steps. The run included a Section 508 scan via axe and a variance-derived k6 performance baseline at p95 0.525 ms. Two business days from published artifacts; one week from approved specifications to a Government-owned starter suite.

How it is engaged

  • TestHive operates inside Softek's environment. It does not process client confidential data.
  • No CUI, PII, credentials, production data or source code is transferred without express client approval.
  • Use on an engagement is offered subject to Government approval and a documented data-flow, privacy, security and AI-governance review.
  • It is never separately procured, licensed, hosted or operated. There is no separate software license or hosting fee.
  • If TestHive is not approved for an engagement, the same contract deliverables are produced in the client toolchain.
  • The human tester remains the authority of record. Every repair and result is reviewed and approved by a Softek engineer.
